Circle V Ranch Camp and Retreat Center, founded by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Council of Los Angeles in 1945, is located in the Los Padres National Forest near Lake Cachuma. Vincentians from the Old Mission Santa Inés Conference provide volunteer support and camperships for Circle V.
Circle V is a multifaceted camp whose mission is to serve children, youth and families from Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Ventura counties by providing innovative and enriching outdoor experiences that build self-esteem and expand knowledge and appreciation of others, nature and God. The Circle V Ranch is open to people of all beliefs.
Circle V Ranch Camp is a traditional summer camp with activities such as hiking, swimming, nature, archery, drumming, painting, sports, campfires, skits, songs and much more. Programs are designed for each camper to participate in innovative and enriching outdoor experiences that build self-esteem, expand knowledge and appreciation of others, nature and God.
Circle V's motto is "Love God, Love Others" based on Mark 12: 28-34
Circle V is also open as a Retreat and Group Center between September first and June 15 (autumn, winter, spring) every year. Circle V Ranch Camp welcomes any non-profit organization from 45 to 150 people of all ages.
