1st Holy Communion 2017 - Congratulations!

Primera Sagrada Comunión 2017 - ¡Felicidades!

"Jesus keeps knocking on our doors, the doors of our lives. He doesn't do this by magic, with special  effects, with flashing lights and fireworks. Jesus keeps knocking on our door in the faces of our brothers and sisters, in the faces of our neighbors, in the faces of those at our side."   Pope Francis

Pope Francis: Remember the spiritual as much as the corporal works of mercy

@ArchbishopGomez: Friends, we need to practice the corporal and spiritual works of mercy - seeking contact with our Lord through serving others.

Our Holy Father's Intentions for May

Christians in Africa: That Christians in Africa, in imitation of the Merciful Jesus, may give prophetic witness to reconciliation, justice, and peace.  Read the reflection...

Urgent Intention Sacredness of Life: We pray for the children who are in danger of the interruption of pregnancy, as well as for persons who are at the end of life — every life is sacred! — so that no one is left alone and that love may defend the meaning of life.

Pope Francis’ Message for the 2017 World Day of the Sick:

For young people, that they might know how to respond generously to the vocation God has given them, and immerse themselves in the great causes of the world.
I know that you, young people, don’t want to be duped by a false freedom, always at the beck and call of momentary fashions and fads. I know that you aim high. Is that true, or am I wrong?
Don’t leave it to others to be the protagonists of change.
You, young people, are the ones who hold the future!  I ask you to be builders of the world, to work for a better world.  It is a challenge, yes it is a challenge. Do you accept it?
Pray with me that young people may respond generously to their own vocation and mobilize for the great causes of the world.
Pope Francis, April 2017
