Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose hope is the LORD. He is like a tree planted beside the waters…in the year of drought it shows no distress, but still bears fruit. In our corner of the world we know all about drought, and how wonderful it feels when we receive the gift of plenteous rain. I’m waiting with anticipation for this year’s wildflowers. Rain is not something we need only once, and then we’re done. No, we need it every year; we can’t live without water. And so it is with God’s grace: it is not just something to seek once in a while, or only on Sunday at mass. We have to ask God for His grace every morning and thank Him for it every night. That is how we can arrive at being truly blessed. God bless and keep you! Fr. Bobby
"Jesus keeps knocking on our doors, the doors of our lives. He doesn't do this by magic, with special effects, with flashing lights and fireworks. Jesus keeps knocking on our door in the faces of our brothers and sisters, in the faces of our neighbors, in the faces of those at our side." Pope Francis
@ArchbishopGomez: Friends, we need to practice the corporal and spiritual works of mercy - seeking contact with our Lord through serving others.
